    Indomitable!

Immigrants’ Stories of Perseverance and Resilience

    author Margery Leveen Sher

    author Margery Leveen Sher, LFI'10

The first 20 registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Indomitable!

INDOMITABLE! tells the stories of thirty-two current asylum-seekers and immigrants to our country. The people whose stories are told came from all over the world. They left their homes to escape danger and persecution, or because the opportunities in their home countries were severely limited. These thirty-two people were chosen not because they are extraordinary, but because they are ordinary…ordinary people reacting to extraordinary circumstances...We can think about what the stories tell us about ourselves as Americans. And most importantly, we must reflect upon the impact to people all over the world if the idea and ideals of America are lost.We are not a perfect country, but we must continue to work toward the American ideal. Book description taken from Amazon.com

Please join us as Margery interviews some of the resilient people profiled in her book.
